D. MC BRYDE JOHNSON - SOUND DESIGNER
“Mac” lives in Charleston South Carolina where he provides sound design and technical services for national and regional theatrical and orchestral productions. These include the Charleston and Augusta Orchestra’s sound designer for their Pop’s series. Mac has just returned from a world tour with vocalist K. D. Lang who performed with the most prestigious symphonies. Mac is happy to be given the opportunity to do something for our military using his talent as sound designer for WARTIME ROMANCE. His experience in “legit” theater includes: the first national tour of Rogers and Hammerstein’s “Carousel” and “ The King and I”, Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess”, multiple local productions and world premieres of original musical theater. Mac communicates well with the “sound” needs of singer and musicians because singing and playing the guitar are his hobbies. He also practices Chinese ink drawing.
